The Community Policing Forums are conducted to:
- Build a better verbal dialogue between the community and the police department
- Maintain a continuous working relationship and address the various concerns of the community
The meetings allow community groups and residents the opportunity to hear about the latest projects, programs, ask questions and give feedback to numerous police officials.
The Diversity Forums are conducted to:
- To make a difference
- Build alliances across differences so we can work together
The concept of diversity encompasses acceptance and respect which is the police department's motto:
Service with Respect, Dedicated to Protect.
