Tom Wiederhold

In 2005, the Fort Worth Police Department Historical Committee was formed by Officer Tom Wiederhold, Retired Sergeant Dale Hinz, Corporal Jim Houck, and Sergeant Kevin Foster with the authorization of Chief Ralph Mendoza. In order to help bring the history of the police department to all citizens of Fort Worth, members of the Committee decided to form a private non-profit, non-political association. In April of 2006, the Fort Worth Police Historical Association was born.
