Central Division

Central Division encompasses a large, diverse area to include the Downtown Business Community, Hospital District, Texas Wesleyan University and many historic neighborhoods immediately surrounding these areas. Included in the boundaries are the major shelters for our homeless population. The business, medical and educational communities located within this division create a significant transient population commuting to and from work each day. After business hours, the Central Business District transforms to a vibrant entertainment venue consisting of many popular restaurants, bars and events.

Central Division celebrates many successful partnerships such as, Code Blue, Operation Partnership and the Clergy and Police Alliance to name a few. These relationships enhance our ability to communicate, collaborate and respond to the growing demands for police services. Our dedicated staff is proud to serve the citizens and visitors of Fort with professionalism and respect as we work toward our strategic goal to become the safest major city in America.
